If you want to discover something new, walk the same trail today that you walked yesterday.
Situated in the northwest corner of Discovery Park, the Wolf Tree Nature Trail has the primary purpose of educating today’s youth in environmental learning classes about the vegetation, wildlife, and history of the area. This trail includes two beautiful streams, forested wetlands, and large conifer trees. While jogging is discouraged and dogs are not allowed, this trail is valued for its environmental education and quiet contemplation at anytime of the year.
In the rich forest habitat of the Wolf Tree Nature Trail, the only constant is change. Each moment, season, year, and decade reflect the continual process of transformation.
Explore the beauty of this unique trail, see how many signs of change can be detected, whether they happened this morning or in the 1870s when Scheuerman carved a farm out of a forest.
